A small update. This week has been more productive than last week:

• managed to get some more of my research printed & stuck down

• I’ve further refined my installation design after a tutorial with the 1st Year Ba(Hons) Architecture tutor (Rob Nice)

• new maquettes made

• costings & material sourcing research done

• alternative materials sort as a result (plywood would cost near £400… waaay too much for this project, subsequently looking at using stiff, heavy, paper or card)

• still figuring out ways to secure the poles

• need to get dimensions of the projectors tomorrow, so I can design the plinth/box for it over the Easter break

I watched Pride this evening, a film about the solidarity between the Lesbian & Gay community, and striking Welsh Miners in ‘84/’85. Powerful film, I’ll fully admit that I had a wee bubble to myself.
